1. What Do You Need To Rent A Car?

To rent a car from Safe Trips in Mauritius, you will need the following:

To be atleast 21 years old (if you’re under 21, you may be required to pay a young driver’s fee, which varies by rental location)
A valid driver’s license with a photo whether it is your domestic driving license or an international one.
A photo ID (For example: a passport)

2.Do you have a pet policy?

Pets are allowed in rental vehicles. Customers need to keep pets crated and return their rental car in clean condition and free of pet hair to avoid cleaning/detailing fees.

3.Can You Return A Rental Car Early?

At Safe Trips, we do not charge customers more for returning a car early, and you will only be charged for the days you had the vehicle.
Please Note: Vehicles should be returned to the same location where picked up unless prior arrangements have been made with the company.

4.What Should I Do If I Get In An Accident In A Rental Car?

If you are in an accident, your safety is most important. Please call 148 or call the local authorities for assistance and file a police report. Then call Roadside Assistance at 5906-1065, which is available 24 hours a day, to report the incident after authorities have been engaged.

5.Do you have a lost and found?

Please be assured that we make every effort to hold items that are left behind; either in a rental vehicle or at one of our locations. To inquire about a lost item, please Call on 5906-1065, where you will have someone to help you concerning the items found in rental cars.
